E-book Converter
EPUB is essentially a website in a box: XHTML and CSS zipped together. Because the content reflows, the reader chooses the font size and the text re-wraps, which is why e-books adapt to any screen.
Converting to PDF fixes the layout into pages; converting a PDF to EPUB does the reverse, re-flowing fixed pages into continuous text. Both directions involve a genuine change in how the content is organised.

Reflowable and fixed layout
A reflowable book has no inherent pages — what looks like page 40 on your phone is page 25 on a tablet. That is a feature, and it is why EPUB works across devices.
PDF is the opposite: pages are fixed, which suits printing and citation but makes reading on a small screen awkward. Choosing between them is really a question of whether the reader needs a fixed reference or comfortable reading.
DRM and why some books cannot be converted
Books bought from Amazon, Apple or most retailers carry digital rights management that encrypts the content. No conversion is possible while that encryption is in place.
FileTools360 does not remove DRM and will not attempt to. Books you own without DRM — from Project Gutenberg, Standard Ebooks, or a publisher that sells unencumbered files — convert normally.
